For the last couple of days in investigating a problem I am having with an Exchange2007 system.
The issue is that when adding an additional mailbox to a users profile, the Sent Items Folders does not seem to be updating upon sending an email. The email is sent fine and received with no issues. However, when you access the sent items of the Shared Mailbox the Sent Item does not appear, UNTIL, a send and receive of the folder complete. The email then appears. I dont really understand this as all the Mailboxes are accessed 'Online' and so should not require a send and receive.
No OST file is created and the Outlook is not running in cached mode. This is also occuring with for all clients I am aware of with access to any mailbox.
In OWA the 'sent items' folder updates no problem upon sending.
Does anyone have any ideas?
