Exchange 2010 - Event ID 2107 Warning

We have a multi-forest environment configured with a forest to forest selective authentication trust with two separate Exchange Orgs.  One of our HT Servers is generating Event ID: 2107 with Source: MSExchange ADAccess and Task Category: Topology.  It states:

Process MSEXCHANGEADTOPOLOGYSERVICE.EXE (PID=1272). Exchange Active Directory Provider failed to obtain an IP address for DS server <Server name>, error 11004 (WSANO_DATA (The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for.)).  This host will not be used as a DS server by Exchange Active Directory Provider.

The DC listed in the error is in a different forest from the HT server reporting the error.

Why would it be trying to populate this DC in its listing for Directory access?  The error has ceased, there are no connectivity issues, but I'm just curious what is going on here.

The only interaction going on between these to Orgs is Availability service communication.  Not sure if this is the reason for this.

Any insight, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
