Password change does not reflecting through Active Directory and Outlook Web Access

dear all, 

unable to change the password through active directory. 

issue : 

while changing the password through active directory , it replicates in ms outlook, but we are unable to login to account using web access. please guide me how to do it and what the problem could be.. 

please do the needful.. 

why password change is not reflecting for outlook web access.
