Hi,
I am running Exchange 2013 CU5 in my environment. I use FE to proxy all the connections. Now I have an web application need to send a volume messages in a minute, but the application will get error log "Message submission rate for this client has exceeded the configured limit". After testing with Outlook POP3 mode, I can only send 5 messages in one minute, or I will get the error.
What I have done:
1. I have tested that if I set the smtp server to BE server, there will be no limit. I can send 10 messages successfully in one minute.
2. I know that there are some limits for the parameters of frontend receive connector. So I have set the parameters of my new connector like MaxInboundConnectionPerSource, MessageRateLimit and MaxInboundConnectionPercentagePerSource the same to that on BE server. I also have restared the trasport service on FE server.
3. I have added my client IP to my connector range, and I have checked that my test messages were sent via this new connector in the FE protocol log.
4. I found that only the MessageRateLimit's value of receiveconnector "Client Frontend CAS1" on FE server is 5, but it still didn't work after I changed it to 30.
Can anyone tell me what other parameters I should set to increase the messages sent in a minute?
Thank you.
