I'm turning on archiving for a number of users in my organization. We are all aware of the Outlook notes issue in that to prevent archiving of notes each user has to log into owa and assign a "personal never archive" policy on the folder. Please don't get hung up on this point, it's a fact of life and not one that I like. If you don't believe me research this or find my other threads on this topic.
Problem is it seems to be a "which came first the chicken or the egg scenario". Users don't have the ability to set the personal policy until archiving is enabled but if archiving is enabled the notes may get archived before the user can set the personal policy.
Is there a way to enable archiving but have the actual archive "job" delayed or manually put asleep so that users have sufficient time to set the personal archive option on their notes folder.
