At last I have been able to connect Outlook 2007 and outllokk 2010 running on Win 7 pro

At last I have been able to connect Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 running on Win 7 pro to Exchange 2013, my question will be at the end.

In order to connect Outlook 2007 and 2010 to Exchange 2013, I had to install the certificate first, this being either the default certificate generated during the install of Exchange 2013 or one created with CA on Server 2012.

However there must be a bug somewhere because the normal method of installing the certificate on Win7 Pro does not work, normal method being run IE as administrator connect to server usinghttps://servername.domain.local/owa or ecp etc. then click the certificate error area to open certificate then click install certificate, then choose Trusted Root Certification Authority folder, this should work however this does not work.

All is not lost though because there is a shared folder on server called CertEnroll, in that folder is the certificate that you have created using CA, now go to IE options -> Contents -> Certificates -> Trusted Root Certification Authority and click import select the file in \\servername\CertEnroll\certname.cer, that will then import the certificate, test by going to server using URL above, if there is no certificate error, go to Outlook and run Outlook 2007 or 2010. and it will install perfectly.

My question is, that this bug in Windows 7, preventing connection to Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010, has been around since the first version of Windows 7, why has in not been fixed.

*** Second question more relevant how can I make my certificate install automatically.
