I recently deleted a database on Exchange 2013 and it removed the database but had an error that I was able to research and find pertaining to Exchange's insufficient permissions to delete health mailbox AD objects. I've read on some blogs and forums that you can find the mailboxes with powershell and then reference them in ADUC under the Microsoft Exchange System Objects OU. My questions are:
1. What permissions do I need to change so this doesn't happen next time I delete a database? I.E. how do I give Exchange the necessary permissions to delete the health mailbox objects in AD?
2. Why do I have 26 health mailboxes for 4 databases? I thought each database had 2 total? Or maybe 1 total if they aren't using public folders?
3. Is it true that it is safe to delete all the health mailboxes and simply restart the health service and the ones that need to be created will be re-created?
