Email struck in outbox in mail client though mail server does not have inbound/outbound queue

Dear All,

Some of the users are experiencing Mails struck in outbox outlook 2010 and 2013. network and internet is fine mail server queue is nil. i have disabled Exchange proxy settings in outlook client, soon emails are gone, what could be the issue is either server or client...
