How to change a top level domain name

Hi,,

I have to Install and setup an Exchange 2013 on a VM. Because before I did Administration of Exchange only, let me ask may be strange questing before I will start.

I have right now DC installed on VM Windows Server 2012 with a top level domain name .LOCAL. In other worlds the full AD domain name is COMPANY.LOCAL. Obviously a new user getting an address -user@company.local. But we got the Internet Domain name which is COMPANY.ORG.

Will it be a problem or will it be possible automatically change the email addresses for users from .local to .org in Exchange?
