We are running SBS 2011.
A few months back an issue came up that looked like it had to do with the server. Turns out the issue was with the router (the cmos battery died and the router lost it's time.)
Unfortunately though before I found the problem I had given up and called and paid Microsoft to troubleshoot the issue. The tech went about reconfiguring IIS, assuming like me, the issue was with the server. Unfortunately he never finished and when the issue was found to be with the router, he closed the case. I did notice that none of the local websites worked anymore, but since we didn't use any of them, I just let it go and figured I would deal with it later.
Now it's later and I need to administer Exchange users, but I can't access the console. The error I get refers to Kerbros access. The default website has a status unknown. sharepoint doesn't work (another service we don't use). Accessing any of the sites does give the IIS7 splash screen.
I know I am being vague, but I don't really know where to concentrate my efforts. I don't care about any of the services involved with IIS7, except for Exchange management. We literally only use Exchange for scheduling and contact management.
What do you think?
