I have read a Microsoft training course book for Exchange 2013 and it states that as a best practice if Exchange is running as a VM we should not save the state of the VM and then resume later, this includes using Quick Migration in a cluster, but it is ok to use live migration because state isn't saved
can anyone explain to me why it's not a good idea to save the state of an Exchange server in comparison to any other type of server?
many thanks
Steve
