We have exchange co-existance of 2007 & 2013
Whenever I run a PowerShell script for ex: Get-MailboxReport.ps1, it used to run for entire Organisation where i want to run it for only exchange version 15.0.
How can i run this only for exchange 2013 servers
My command
c:\: Get-MailboxReport.ps1 -all
Which runs for all.

I have 2 Hub Exchange 2010 servers, I want to use a remote management machine to track 2 hub server's transport log, one hub can track log, but the othe one can't track the log, the error is
“Failed to connect to the Microsoft Exchange Transport Log Search service on computer “Exchange_Servername”. Verify that a valid computer name was used and the Microsoft Exchange Transport Log Search service is started on the target computer.” The error message is: Access is denied.”
I'm sure the Transport Log Search service is ok, and I have permission because the other one is working fine.

I got stuck around a issue where in out of office is not working .. although I am able to set back out of office from outlook and OWA but do not receive any response for either internal or external . There are no rules in-place , also tried deleting IPM.Note.Rules.OofTemplate.Microsof from Mfcmapi but no luck so far . Please suggest.

I had an abrupt problem came out when my clients brought me notice that they're disconnected from exchange, when I checked my exchange console then I saw my mailbox "dismounted" don't know how! Anyways I ran command to check my .edb file so in status it was mentioned "status: dirty shutdown" then i ran same utility with some command then in "status: clean shutdown" but now I'm still unable to mount it. Below is the error...

I had a rebuild content index of one of the Database who size is 332 GB. Please help me th know how much expected time it should take to get complete and to get DB into healthy state.
Our Exchange server is rejecting email from a web form on are website as SPAM. There's no indication as to why it's been identified as SPAM. Is there a place I can go to get more details as to why the email was idenitifed as SPAM?
Anybody with access to Microsoft's internal tools willing to convert a trace file for me?

Please suggest post upgradation Exchange 2013 CU6 unable to genarate dailyperformace logs files on some of the servers.
We tried deleting the registry as suggested in below artical but not help to resolve that. in task scheduled unable to see both performace logs.

We are in coexistence with 2007 and 2013 and when a simple PowerShell command is run in Exchange 2013:

We see multiple warnings:

I have viewed similar threads - if I move the mailbox, the issue is resolved. However, new mailboxes appear every day
Our environment seems healthy and the mailboxes are on various databases
Do anyone know how to prevent mailboxes from entering this state?

We have 2 Exchange 2013 servers in a DAG, each server hosts 3 databases. 5 of the 6 databases have copies on both servers, the 6th is a test one which we do not want to replicate.
One of the databases keeps failing over to the other server, it lists it's usual host server as its preferred server and the passive copy as its second choice yet it repeatedly goes into failover while the others remain on their host as they should.
The databases are all pretty close to the same size with the same number of mailboxes.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

I'm running Exchange 2010, Version 14.3, Build 123.4.
We have a number of shared mailboxes where delegates send on behalf of. The default action seems to be for the sent emails to be kept in the sent items on the personal mailbox of the person sending the email as opposed to in the shared mailbox. On windows machines we have been applying a client-side fix for this as per https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2181579
This solution doesn't work for mac machines however - and I can't find anything equivalent for outlook on mac.
The server-side solution doesn't seem to work at all for existing mailboxes - this is to set the "Messages sent as this mailbox will appear in the Sent Items folder of the:" and the "Messages sent on behalf of this mailbox will appear in the Sent Items folder of the:" to either "From" or "Sender and from mailboxes". Emails are still only saved in the sent items of the sender. However, when I create a new mailbox all together, it seems to save it into both the sender and from mailboxes sent items regardless of which option is selected.
Does anyone know how to resolve this for existing mailboxes? And does anyone know why even on a new mailbox, the behaviour doesn't appear to reflect the setting I choose through webmail?

could some one guide me in right direction. i have ex2010 and i have Journal DB. i would like to migrate the journal DB from 2010 to ex2013. running exchange 2013 is on cluster and i have 4 physical servers. i would like to migrating the Journal DB from ex2010 to ex2013 just like mailbox DBs. is there any specific way doing it? wht is the bestway to do this? any one done this before.

I just installed an MS Exchange 2013 and before we had a linux as corporate email. Now all users have their PST locally and I need to export the Exchange to each user account that is already created on the server and to remove the pst local from notebook and computers and each user.
There any way to export all local user pst to the Exchange Server to keep on this Exchange Server.
Example: My account in Linux is sebastian_antunez@corporate.comand Exchange is the same account. In my notebook I have 4 pst files called year2010.pst, year2012.pst, year2013, year2015.pst., and I want to export the exchange server to my account and when you change server name in MS Outlook 2013 from linuxmail.corporate.com to mail.corporate.com, I can have the mail from the original pst with to folders.
By example, the pst called year2010.pst to open it locally show the folder customer - sales - pending...etc.
When exporting to exchange will be able to see the folder as if the opening locally?

My Exchange setup:
Exchange 2010 Enterprise
2 mailbox servers
2 CAS, 2 HT
12 mailbox databases. The total of all databases combine is about 2TB. The largest mailbox databases are 530GB, 250GB, and 196GB. Are this over the supported recommendations?
