HTTP 500 Internal Server Error when logging into Exchange 2013 SP1 /ECP

Hi, 

So after lot of effort finally here,

We have 3 Exchange server as below

1-EXCH MAILBOX/CAS

2-CAS

3-MAILBOX 

currently all users are connected with 1-EXCH MAILBOX/CAS and wokring fine with /owa /ecp, internal and external directories.

then i decided to configure DAG with Mailbox servers, so setup mailbox and cas two addidtional servers. after setup CAS i'm trying to access new CAS server /ecp and /owa with localhost but getting HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.

Tried:

.changed framworkclr verion 2.0 but no luck

.rebuild ecp/owa virtual directories but same issue

Please suggest me further t-shoot.

Prepending Rules with Exchange 2013 Hybrid with Office 365

I have successfully created a prepend rule for incoming outside emails however the exceptions to not include internal system related emails is not working. The emails that are sent by the software go through the same transport rules according to the message properties. We are in a Exchange Hybrid with Office 365 environment ( all mailbox reside with Office 365), and the only difference between messages is all incoming emails from the outside are ran through Google Spam services. Any suggestions on the best way to add the exceptions to not include internal system emails?

Restore a deleted mailbox

Dears,

In this post Exchange 2013 database move. DAG involved!. I've successfully moved 2 database copies from one volume to another in the same server. Because of the DAG I had to rename the drive letter and the databases names.

Now, I'm facing a problem when trying to restore a deleted mailbox. The Following error appears when I tried to connect to a deleted mailbox:

warning
The object domain.com/Restored/UserX has been corrupted, and it's in an inconsistent state. The following validation errors happened:

Database is mandatory on UserMailbox.

As expected, the "msExchPreviousHomeMDB" attribute points to the old database.

What are the changes to restore this mailbox?

I found error on my Mailbox server and can't find any description for this error:

(Process w3wp.exe, PID 3728) Connection leak detected for key contoso.ua/Enterprise Administrators/Exch_administrator in Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Authorization.WSManBudgetManager class. Leaked Value 2.

How do i leave email unread on server when configure POP3 account in outlook

hi,

i am using exchange server 2010 and configure my email account in 2 PC. one PC it is active sync account and other one is POP3 account.  i configure my POP3 account to leave a copy on server. what problem is that when POP3 account download email it is marked and reads on server. is it possible that these email show unread on server and what setting i do that it show unread.

Hi,

I am able to set custom resources in the command prompt as below and it is working 

Set-mailbox -resourceCustom "VCR","Telepresence" -identity "Dummy Public Meeting Room4"

But these resources are available in the txt file and I am getting and trying to set as below

$text = Get-Content "c:\PublicMeetingRoomInputs.txt"    

$CustomResourceItems = New-Object System.Collections.Generic.List[System.Object]
for($i=7;$i -lt $text.Length;$i++)
{
    #Write-Host $text[$i]
    $CustomResourceItems.Add($text[$i])    

}

        

PS C:\Users\naga.sudheer.madduru> $AllCustomResourceItems = ""
foreach($CustomResourceitem in $CustomResourceItems){

        $AllCustomResourceItems += "'$CustomResourceitem'" + ","    

}

$AllCustomResourceItems = $AllCustomResourceItems.TrimEnd(',')
Set-mailbox -resourceCustom $AllCustomResourceItems -identity $MeetingRoomName

But it is throwing the error as mentioned,please let me know if I am making any mistake

Hi Team,

We have a requirement as below.

Hybrid configuration is completed for our Exchange 2013 server. Now there are some mailboxes in on premise exchange server.

we want to give an office365 user full mailbox permission on an on premise mailbox.

Kindly advise on how to achieve the same.

Restore Exchange 2013 at DR site?

Hi there,

We got 2 nodes Exchange 2013cu21 VM in DAG, both running on Win2012 std r2 servers, in which these 2 nodes are in different sites (i.e. different subnets), let's say exch-1 in site 1, exch-2 in site 2, both VM got daily fully backup of whole VM images.

Now assumed that for very bad luck both site 1 & site 2 got disasters at the same time & fully crashed & not accessible, can I restore only exch-1 at DR site (site 3 i.e. differnet subnet) to recover my email service?  

Assume at site 3 already got fully replicated AD server there, other than updating the internal ipaddr of exch-1, updating public dns records pointing to site 3, what else should I follow up to make sure the restored exch-1 workable?

No disaster happened actually, but I need to prepare for the very worst case.  Many thx!

eDiscovery error: mailbox not found

Exchange 2013 CU20, hybrid environment

New eDiscovery and Hold search wizard completes but fails with estimates. Issue is reproduced on a single mailbox, multiple mailbox criteria, and mailboxes in either production databases.

When error details in ECP with status EstimateFailed:

One or more of the mailboxes in the search request couldn’t be found... the legacyExchangeDSN is enumerated {Mailbox: /o=OU /ou=Exchange Administrative Group

Exchange environment has gone thru various migration scaling back since Exchange 2007, possibly and likely to 2010 to it's current state of 2013.

The search criteria is scoped to an on-prem mailbox. Search is performed via powershell and thru ecp with same results.

Any advise/guidance is appreciated. Thank you.

The script is working fine in the dev server.

Ultimately the script needs to be executed from my local machine which has Windows 7 OS,Windows Power shell.

Dears,

Could you advice if the below command is correct to delete all the emails from a specific domain, please?.

Get-Mailbox -ResultSize Unlimited | Search-Mailbox -Searchquery 'from:"*@xyz.com"' -DeleteContent -Confirm:$true > c:\temp\delete1.txt

Where xyz.com is a spam domain in the above example.

Error while migrating the mailbox from 2010 to 2016

i am not able to migrate a mailbox from 2010 to 2016. it is shwowing  TransientFailureTarget

Able to move other mailboxes to 2016 . an idea how to troubleshoot this?

Exchange server 2013 CU22 issues

My current setup is exchange server CU15(Version 15.0 ‎(Build 1156.6)‎) ( two MBx, two CAS in primary site) (one MBX, one CAS in DR site).

Planning to update exchange CU22. I have some queries in this update..

1) Anybody please tell any known issues in patch CU22.

2) is it ok to directly upgrade exchange cu15 to exchange cu22.

3) Also tell me the server order to be patched.

Please advice...
