we are have windows server 2008 r2 with Active directory (primary domain ABC.com) and exchange 2010. we enabled the accepted domain XYZ.com in our server .we are trying to host the XYZ.com user mail box to external hosing vendor. for GAL syncing the vendor is asked me create the contact id of XYZ.com user in our exchange. but the contact id creation is not possible in hosting server, so they are asking an AD user id with domain admin rights using this the hosting provider will query my AD and the sync the ABC.com users list to their server.
and also they shared us the ip details from which server they run the LDAP query to accept my firewall.
any body please share your inputs. I am bit worried on security part on sharing the domain admin user.
