Hoping you can help.
Last week our exchange server deadlocked access, rebooting of course fixed the issue but before rebooting i tried restarting the services (Namely the Information Store) as it was using a ridiculous amount of memory. (normally 800MB - 1Gb.....but this was using 4.8GB)
However, i have narrowed this down to a user who is trying to send a 25MB zip file.
When the user creates the email message and attaches the file, when he hits send. The exchange system moves into deadlock. Nothing in nothing out. All users are locked out and i cannot restart the services, i can only reboot.
Any ideas?
System information: Windows server 2008R2 up to date. Exchange Server 2010 SP3
